South Carolina women's basketball has been cruising since their early season loss to UCLA, who remains undefeated on the season. The Gamecocks have been able to get into a rhythm both offensively and defensively as they find themselves getting ready for SEC play.

This weekend, as the Gamecocks enter their final games of non-conference play, South Carolina will take on USF from the American Athletic Conference. These two teams are fairly new to each other, having only met once in program history. They met for the first time back in 2023 when the Gamecocks walked away with the 76-45 win in a game that seemed over by halftime.

The Gamecocks are looking for their fifth win in a row as players like Chloe Kitts and Tessa Johnson look to continue rolling on the court. Forward Ashlyn Watkins has been all over social media this week for the dunk she had over TCU after a turnover, becoming just the ninth woman to ever dunk.
