Dawn Staley's South Carolina Gamecocks are getting a lot closer to finally tipping off the 2026-27 season after a long offseason. With the season rapidly approaching, the Gamecocks are learning which time windows and television slots they will be tipping off in.

Some of South Carolina's biggest games of the season will be aired on ABC. The first one is the Nov. 15 contest against the USC Trojans, which will be held in Greenville, S.C.

The next contest that will be aired live on ABC will be the Dec. 6 game against Audi Crooks and the Oklahoma State Cowgirls. The Gamecocks' Jan. 3 game at Texas in the early stages of SEC conference play, as well as South Carolina's huge Feb. 21 home matchup against Kim Mulkey's LSU Tigers.

According to the school, the Gamecocks have the most games of any school in the country to have four games broadcast on ABC so far this season:

All four games should be big ones for Staley's team. The game against the Cowgirls marks the first-ever game between the two programs. OK-State landed Crooks this offseason, who finished last season averaging 25.8 points per game with 7.7 rebounds.

South Carolina will go on the road to face a Texas team that knocked off the Gamecocks in last year's SEC Tournament, ending Staley's hopes for a three-peat in winning the conference tournament. That will also be a game to watch for new South Carolina guard Jordan Lee, who transferred to the Gamecocks this offseason.

The Gamecocks won both games over LSU in the regular season and SEC Tournament, but the Tigers are usually a perennial threat to be competitive inside the SEC.

The Gamecocks will tip off their 2026-27 season with a game in Paris. France against the Maryland Terrapins. South Carolina had one of the best transfer portal classes this offseason, headlined by Lee. South Carolina also returns stars in Tessa Johnson, Chloe Kitts, Agot Makeer and Alicia Tournibize.
