The South Carolina Gamecocks baseball team had a much-needed 10-9 victory over the Kentucky Wildcats on Friday night. As an added bonus, one of Gamecock outfielder Tyler Bak's catches made SportsCenter's Top 10 plays.

Bak's home-run rob of Tyler Bell in the top of the seventh made the show's No. 3 overall play, which aired during Friday night's broadcast.

Friday night's game was a thriller in Columbia. The Gamecocks led 8-6 entering the fifth. In the ninth inning, South Carolina led 10-8, and opened the inning with a pair of walks. An RBI fielder's choice made it 10-9, and Bell flied out to seal South Carolina's victory.

Brandon Cisse's emotional NFL Draft call is a must-see moment

The Gamecocks are having a down season in Columbia on the diamond, as head coach Paul Manieri resigned just a month and a half into the season. On the season, South Carolina is 21-22 overall with a 6-13 record in SEC play. South Carolina is being coached by interim Monte Lee this season.

Congrats to Bak on making the SC Top 10! First pitch of Saturday's Game 2 against Kentucky is set for 1 p.m. ET.  The start time was moved up due to the forecast of weather in the area Saturday afternoon.
