The season hasn't even kicked off yet, and Gamecock Nation can get their fix with EA Sport's long-awaited release of College Football 26 video game. The standard edition dropped earlier this month on July 10, but those who preordered the deluxe version or bundled it with Madden 26, got early access beginning July 7. College football fans can now take control of their favorite teams, including the South Carolina Gamecocks, leading them through a virtual dynasty.

Gamecock Overview

The South Carolina Gamecocks overall team rating in the game is 82, with an 85 rating on the offense and an 84 rating on the defense. Among all of the 16 SEC teams in the video game, the Gamecocks rank 12th overall.

Leveling Up: LaNorris Sellers and Dylan Stewart

Two Gamecock players earned some of the top rankings in the game, showcasing South Carolina's climb to greatness in college football, virtually and literally.

The dynamic Gamecock redshirt sophomore, LaNorris Sellers, is rated 91 overall and is tied for fourth-best among all QBs. He ranks just behind Penn State's Drew Allar and Clemson's Cade Klubnik, who are only one point ahead of Sellers.

Sellers also leads all QBs in two key athletic qualities:

  • 91 Agility (No. 1 among QBs)
  • 92 Change of Direction (No. 1 among QBs)

Other rankings for Sellers:

  • 89 Speed
  • 82 Strength
  • 90 Injury (how susceptible a player is to injury and how well they recover)
  • 87 Awareness

Sophomore edge rusher Dylan Stewart is the highest-ranked Gamecock in the video game with a 94 overall ranking. He is also the top-rated EDGE nationally.

Stewart's ratings:

  • 91 Speed
  • 91 Agility
  • 78 Strength
  • 75 Change of Direction
  • 90 Injury
  • 85 Awareness

In addition, wide receiver Nyck Harbor earned an 82 overall rating, but his speed rating of 99 makes him the fastest wideout in College Football 26.

Beamer Ball Dynasty Mode

In College Football 26's Dynasty Mode, South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer is for the third-lowest in the SEC alongside Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. However, his coaching level is rated the seventh-best in the conference. Beamer's other ratings include the following:

  • Level 58
  • B+ Coach Prestige
  • 88% Job Security
