Shane Beamer and the South Carolina coaching staff are busy along the recruiting trail. Just a day after landing 2027 OL prospect Will Endicott to the Gamecocks' recruiting class, the staff is already stating to fill out its 2028 class.Â
On Monday evening, Beamer and the Gamecocks officially offered 2028 offensive lineman Brendan Hall. The news was first reported by Gamecocks Central's Kevin Miller.Â
Hall, who is from Charlotte, N.C., plays high school football out of South Macklenburg. Per 247Sports, Hall is a multi-sport athlete, playing both basketball and baseball as a first baseman and pitcher, in addition to football.
Miller additionally reports that Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and Kentucky have also offered the offensive lineman. He also writes that Hall has the versatility to play both tackle and guard along the offensive line, which is a huge plus for any prospect.Â
South Carolina's 2028 class does not feature any current verbal commits, since it's still very early in that cycle. The Gamecocks' 2027 class features three verbal commits, and is ranked 65th nationally.Â
Hall, like most 2028 prospects, does not have a rating per 247Sports just yet, but those will develop over the coming months. Â
