The Class of 2027 is on fire! And Shane Beamer is kicking things into high gear with an unforgettable personal twist to it. Fresh off a convincing contract extension through 2031, Coach Beamer, who is entering Year 5 at the helm, is proud of his recruiting reputation. Some of his recent hauls have transformed South Carolina into a legit contender to match last season's 9-win campaign. And now that the 2027 recruiting window is open, the Gamecocks are leveling up with personalized videos from the Beamer Ball coach himself.

One of those messages landed in the inbox of 5-star talent David Jacobs, a 6-foot-6 standout from Blessed Trinity in Roswell, GA. In the video, Beamer got straight to the point saying:

"What a great day today is, we are final allowed to communicate with the class of 2027. We get to conitnue to build a relationship with you, man I loved seeing you when you were here for our spring game. You saw what a special place this is you have an absolutely special family. We look forward to seeing you back here at South Caorlina soon. Have a great summer and Go Gamecocks."

There are a lot of reasons why something personalized like these videos matter so much to recruits. It builds relationships by showing these top recruits that they are not just another name on the list. It boosts the confidence and culture of the program. That message shouts, "We're serious about your future!" while underscoring the winning culture that Beamer and staff are building in Columbia. And it creates momentum; not only is South Carolina coming off of a 9-4 season, with Beamer boasting Coach of the Year honors, but the Gamecocks have a program that is well on the rise.
