South Carolina football is gaining major momentum on the recruiting trail yet again. The 2026 class for the Gamecocks currently ranks No. 15 nationally, and with summer commitments heating up, the program is in prime position to land its first Top 10 class of the Beamer Ball era.

As Beamer enters his fifth season as the head coach of the Gamecocks program, this could very well be the best recruiting class the Gamecocks have seen since 2009, when they finished at No. 13 in the country. Even finishing at No. 15 would mark the program's highest finish since 2012.

South Carolina's 2026 class already features some serious talent:

  • DL Aiden Harris
  • S J’Zavien Currence
  • IOL Zyon Guiles
  • EDGE Andrew Harris
  • TE Jamel Howse
  • EDGE Keenan Britt
  • IOL Anthony Baxter

Of course, the recruiting will pick up even more during the summer months with official visits being made, as South Carolina is still in the running for some top targets. Chief among them is four-star quarterback Landon Duckworth.

Beamer has already put together not one, but two, top-20 recruiting classes since taking over the program. He finished No. 18 in both 2022 and 2023 classes. If the Gamecocks can have another 9-4 season with stars like LaNorris Sellers and Dylan Stewart leading the way with experience, the Gamecocks could find themselves at the top by National Signing Day.
