In addition, Beamer reposted several congratulatory messages. One of which was a post from The Athletic's Bruce Feldman, who called Emmanwori "the biggest freak athlete in the draft.'
Love the pick by the Seahawks getting So Carolina safety Nick Emmanwori, biggest Freak athlete in the draft. βI think heβs a better overall athlete and safety than Derwin James, who is a box safety to me. Emmanwori is a five-tool safety. He can play in all facets of the field. Heβ¦

Emmanwori's football journey is a testament to his hard work and versatility. He originally started at South Carolina as a backup, but quickly seized his opportunity to be a starter, making an immediate impact. Over three seasons as a Gamecock, Emmanwori racked up 244 tackles, 11 pass breakups, and six interceptions.
Emmanwori's NFL selection marks the eighth consecutive year that South Carolina has had a Gamecock drafted to the pros. He is also the first player recruited out of high school by head coach Shane Beamer to have his name called on draft night.
