Subtle changes only for South Carolina football depth chart ahead of first SEC test

South Carolina football coach Shane Beamer wasn't thrilled with his team's performance on Saturday as the Gamecocks knocked off the Old Dominion Monarchs in a closer-than-expected 23-19 contest.

Still, based on Monday's depth chart release, there won't be any sweeping changes from the first depth chart of the year to the starting lineup heading into the SEC opener this weekend against the Kentucky Wildcats.

Most of the noticeable differences to the starting units are that a few of the "OR" designations have been removed, giving the players who started against Old Dominion that designation in a more official capacity. Josiah Thompson (an "OR" starter with Tree Babalade last week) is listed as the starting left tackle, Mazeo Bennett is listed as the first "OR" at one wide receiver spot when he wasn't last week, Dylan Stewart is now listed as an "OR" starter at one EDGE spot when he was a backup last week, and Judge Collier is listed as the starter at corner instead of an "OR" starter with Vicari Swain.
