South Carolina football fans and fans of college football around the country cannot wait until July when the newest installment of the college football video game hits the shelves.

After a decade without the formerly titled NCAA Football series, EA Sports is bringing back the game in conjunction with NIL laws and regulations that allow for college athletes to make a profit off of their names, images, and likenesses. Now called EA Sports College Football 25, the game is set to be even more realistic than previous versions of the game, and it is sure to be a best-seller this summer.

One of the elements of realism that is making its way into CFB25 is gameday traditions. Back when NCAA Football 2014 was released, some traditions made their way into the game like Ralphie's Run at Colorado and the Gator Chomp at Florida. However, CFB25 will include much more.

According to reports from all over the sports media world, including a report from The Athletic's Chris Vannini, one of the top college football gameday experiences will be included when players get ready to hit the field at Williams-Brice Stadium. South Carolina football fans will see and hear "Sandstorm" playing through their television speakers as part of the in-game experience of playing with or against the Gamecocks.

"Sandstorm" has become an important part of gamedays at Williams-Brice, so much so that the song's creator Darude was in town last fall to guest DJ the song and watch Shane Beaner's South Carolina football team knock off the Kentucky Wildcats in the final SEC contest of the season.

As of now, it is unclear if "Sandstorm" will be in the game in a pregame capacity, used at crucial moments and kickoffs during the in-game experience, or some of both, but the important thing is that, according to Vannini's report, it's in the game.
