South Carolina basketball great Aliyah Boston has been lighting the WNBA on fire the past couple of weeks. After a slow start to the year in which she wasn't being featured as much in the Indiana Fever offense as she should be, Boston has logged four double-doubles in her last five games. In those games, she is averaging 18.4 points, 11.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2 blocks per game while shooting 64% from the field. Unsurprisingly, the Fever have gone 4-1 during that span.

The latest of her strong performances came on Friday night against the Atlanta Dream when she was perfect (literally) in a win.

In what became a 91-79 victory, Boston put up another double-double despite playing just 26 minutes. She scored 10 points on a perfect 5-5 from the field and pulled down 10 rebounds, including 3 on the offensive end. The former Gamecock added 3 blocked shots, an assist, and a steal next to her name in the box score, as well. She is just the fourth Fever player ever to have a double-double with 100% shooting from the floor.

Former Gamecocks Victaria Saxton (Indiana Fever), Allisha Gray (Atlanta Dream), and Laeticia Amihere (Atlanta Dream) all played in the game, too. Gray scored 17 points, and Amihere was the only Dream player who finished the game with a positive +/-.

Boston's big game pushed Indiana to their fourth straight win, something that had not happened for that franchise in nearly a decade. Since their 0-5 start, the Fever have recorded a 7-5 record and now are pushing for a playoff berth.

Individually, Boston's recent success has catapulted her back into All-Star Game consideration. Behind just the expected top-2 of fellow South Carolina basketball alum A'ja Wilson and the uber-popular Caitlin Clark, Boston follows in the #3 spot in WNBA All-Star Game fan voting.
