How EA Sports CFB25 rates the players on the South Carolina football roster

EA Sports College Football 25 was released (for early access) on Monday, and South Carolina football fans finally got their first official look at the virtual version of the Gamecocks after 11 years without an updated college football video game.

The game has some...interesting...ratings for the players on the Gamecock roster. Some of the positions are a little off from reality, as well, especially on the defensive front (namely with some tackles being labeled ends, some ends being labeled linebackers, and some linebackers being labeled ends) and the offensive line (shifting of positions is common among big uglies, anyway). There also are a handful of players from the 2024 South Carolina football team not included on the first version of the roster and several made-up virtual players used to fill out the roster numbers.
