A'ja Wilson has won just about every accolade possible during her basketball career. While playing for Dawn Staley's South Carolina basketball team, Wilson was the National Player of the Year and a National Champion, and she has won two MVPS and two WNBA Finals titles since becoming a professional.

While those honors are among the greatest of her on-court career, the NBA 2K25 cover athlete has picked up several "smaller" awards during the 2024 season. Now, even during the WNBA All-Star Game break, the Columbia, South Carolina native simply cannot stop winning awards.

On Friday, A'ja Wilson was selected as the WNBA Western Conference Player of the Week and the WNBA Western Conference Player of the Month. It is the fourth time this season that she was selected as player of the week and the third time that she was selected as player of the month. In July, Wilson has averaged 27.8 points, 13.6 rebounds, and 4 blocks while shooting 54% from the field.

Both of those honors are unsurprising as she is the overwhelming favorite to be the MVP once again this season. She also is flying up the all-time leaderboards for most times having won each award.

A'ja Wilson has been a conference player of the week on 20 occasions, good for a tie with Maya Moore for 6th-most in league history. Despite being just 27 years old, she only trails Tina Charles (32), Candace Parker (26), Elena Delle Donne (24), Tamika Catchings (22), and Diana Taurasi (21). Charles also owns the record for player of the month selections (12), but Wilson is catching up as this month marked her 11th time winning.

The WNBA will not return after the All-Star break until mid-August because of the Summer Olympic Games in Paris. Wilson and Team USA will be aiming for another Gold medal as the W takes its Olympic hiatus.
