No. 12 Ole Miss is making their way to Columbia, South Carolina, for the first time in 15 years. These two teams also haven't played each other since the COVID season in 2020 in a high-scoring affair that Ole Miss came out victorious.

South Carolina had an extra week to prepare and get healthy with their bye week, while Ole Miss went out and lost to unranked Kentucky, a team that South Carolina put an absolute beat down on early in the season. The Rebels struggled against Kentucky's dominant defensive line and if South Carolina can put pressure on Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart, the Gamecocks could create even more chaos in the SEC.

South Carolina is not necessarily out of it right now in the SEC. Yes, they have one loss, but with the way the SEC looks like it is beating up on each other If the Gamecocks can win out and enough chaos happens in the SEC, they could find themselves in a good position at the end of the season and maybe in those rankings in the College Football Playoff.
