South Carolina is coming off a bye after their bounce-back game against Akron in Week 4. The Gamecocks are looking to get back on track in the SEC, however, after the close loss to LSU in Week 3. They have now had two weeks to not only prepare for their second ranked matchup of the season but also to get healthy.

South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer shared the good news with Gamecock fans, saying that quarterback LaNorris Sellers, who suffered an ankle injury against LSU, has been practicing all week and looking good in practice. Beamer would not reveal whether or not Sellers would play this weekend, but he was listed as the starting quarterback on the depth chart for this week.

This will be just the 17th meeting between these two programs and will Ole Miss coming off a loss at home to unranked Kentucky, the Gamecocks could catch the Rebels on their heels and sneak a win away from a ranked opponent.
