The South Carolina women's basketball team will go for their 43rd straight win in a row as they take on in-state rival Clemson tonight. The Gamecocks have just edged out the Tigers in their all-time series in the last couple years as they now lead with a 35-33 record over Clemson. Under the Dawn Staley era, South Carolina is 13-2 against the Tigers.

Tonight's game will mark the first time Staley will have a fully healthy squad this season, as Tessa Johnson will make her return to the lineup after getting injured against NC State and missing the last two games against Coppin State and East Carolina.

This will be an important game for the Gamecocks not only because it is a rivalry game but also because they are getting ready to head into two ranked matchups in the coming week. They are set to take on No. 5 UCLA on Sunday, November 24, and then No. 8 Iowa State on Thanksgiving, which will be the start of the Ft. Meyers Tipoff.
