It might be September, but we have ourselves an early game day, South Carolina women's basketball fans! On Sunday afternoon, head coach Dawn Staley's South Carolina team will be taking on the College of Charleston. The Gamecocks are playing as part of the LinkU Invitational exhibition basketball series, hosted in the outdoor arena Credit One Stadium, located in Charleston, South Carolina.
The invitational is having just two women's teams, as the invitational includes four other men's teams. The Virginia Cavaliers will get things started at Noon ET, taking on the Vanderbilt Commodores at Noon ET. That will be followed up by College of Charleston vs The Citadel, scheduled for 2 p.m. ET..
Head coach Dawn Staley and her team will be taking the court against Charleston as the final game of the day on Sunday, with tip-off set for 4 p.m. ET. Of course, that will slightly depend on how late the games go.
Lucky for Gamecocks fans, the game will be live streamed.

While the game is just an exhibition, it will give South Carolina fans their first look at Dawn Staley's loaded 2026-27 squad. The Gamecocks returned veterans like Chloe Kitts, Tessa Johnson and Joyce Edwards, but signed big names like Texas transfer Jordan Lee and five-star signee Oliviyah Edwards.
Sunday's forecast in Charlston is calling for a high of 82 degrees with 48% humidity.
