No Caitlin Clark, no problem for the Indiana Fever. On Saturday night, the Fever got a 24-point victory over the Los Angeles Sparks, as Indiana was without star guard Caitlan Clark, who is dealing with a back injury.

But that didn't stop the Fever from scoring 111 points in the win, as Indiana also shot 55% from the floor on the night. Several former Gamecocks stepped up for Indiana in the victory.

Although the Fever were led by guard Kelsey Mitchell, who had 26 points on the night, Aliyah Boston added 17 points and another seven rebounds. Guard Tyasha Harris added another 16 points and five rebounds. Bree Hall and Raven Johnson also came on the bench, with Hall getting five points in 10 minutes, and Johnson adding two points with four assists.

“It spurs up through and through,” Harris said via the Indy Star on how well South Carolina players did after the victory. “We got people come in and they put their spurs up too."

For Harris, it was her best performance of the season. After the game, she spoke about how happy she was with her game, as she is coming off of a knee injury last season that limited her play.

Seeing the South Carolina stars show out should come as no surprise to WNBA fans. The Gamecocks have a program-record 12 former players on teams across the league this season.

“It meant everything to me,” Harris said via the Fever. “I’m coming off an injury from last year, I wanted to be on the floor and contribute to the team in any way that I can. My number was called today, and it went well for me, so it meant everything.”

With the win, the Fever improved to 11-8 on the season, whereas the Sparks dropped to 8-10. Next up for Indiana is a road trip to the Las Vegas on Sunday, July 5, so there's plenty of time for Clark to get healthy. The Sparks, meanwhile, get a home game against the Seattle Storm on Monday, July 6.

In the meantime, the Gamecocks on the Fever have no problems holding the offense down.
