The Atlanta Dream will be looking to win a championship for the first time in franchise history, set to take on the Golden State Valkyries on Saturday night.

In what will be the first-ever Game 7 in WNBA Finals history, former South Carolina Gamecocks Allisha Gray, Te-Hina Paopao and Madina Okot will be looking to bring the Dream their first-ever WNBA Finals title, going 0-3 in the team's previous three finals appearances.

For the first time, there will be a game seven to decide the championship. Before the 2026 WNBA season began, the league moved to a seven-game format for the Finals.

A big key in helping the Dream do just that will be former Gamecock Gray. She had the best game of her postseason so far in Game 6, as she scored 23 points, including five three-pointers. She also added six rebounds, three assists, three blocks and another two steals. It was her best game back since undergoing a minor procedure due to a finger injury she suffered in the series against the New York Liberty.

How to watch Allisha Gray, Atlanta Dream vs. Golden State in Game 7

Gray talked before the pivotal Game 7 about wanting to lock in mentally.

"You can't let your opponent win the mental game," Gray said via ESPN. "It could be the crowd. It could be if you're making shots or not. It can be even the refs. So the biggest thing is just staying poised and staying within yourself and don't get too out of body."

Gray's teammate, Dream star Angel Reese, also helped her prepare mentally going into Game 6:

If Gray plays like she did on Thursday, Atlanta has a great shot at getting a title. But it will be a challenge as the series goes back to San Francisco for Game 7. Former Gamecock and rookie Madina Okot is also with the Dream, although she has played limited minutes in the finals so far.

Paopao, who missed the last game due to a lower leg injury is also listed as questionable:

Tip-off for Game 7 is set for 8 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
