A'ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces are preparing for the upcoming WNBA season, which starts on Friday, May 9. But before then, Wilson had just enough time to show up at her first-ever Met Gala and serve some looks.

Wilson showed up to the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday evening wearing an absolutely stunning gold dress, complete with matching gold hair:

Per Women's Wear Daily, Wilson's golden gown was a custom-made dress by designer Prabal Gurung.

“We’re definitely showing a little ‘Midas Touch,'” Wilson said of her look via the outlet.

“It’s kind of a parallel to my life as well — everything I touch is golden," Wilson added. "I want it to be, I want to win. But also the look is a texturized, oxidized gold. It’s something that is so key to my life, but also shows the texture and fluidity of the dress and caped sleeves.”

Wilson and the Aces wrapped up WNBA's preseason last week, with the reigning WNBA Champions set to take on the Phoenix Mercury on Saturday, May 9 at 3:30 p.m. ET. The four-time WNBA MVP had time before her season tips off to attend the annual mega-fashion event.

“I think fashion and how it’s been a crossover now into sport is a beautiful way to showcase the versatility as women, whether that’s through our clothes, hair, anything," Wilson said via WWD. "I’m excited to be here, to see everyone but also put on my own [glam]."

Gurung also dressed Keke Palmer, Angela Bassett, Rachel Zegler, Amanda Fuhrman, Coco Jones, Gauravi Kumari, Sawai Padmanabh Singh and Lauren Wasser this year.

Not too shabby for your first-ever Met Gala, A'ja!
