South Carolina Football vs. Jacksonville State:
The Injury Report

  • Juice Wells and Trai Jones remained out, and tight end Trey Knox missed his first game of the year.
  • Vershon Lee was back in the starting lineup at right tackle. From left to right, the starters were Tree Babalade-Jakai Moore-Nick Gargiulo-Tro Baugh-Vershon Lee.
  • Freshly returned from injury, Cason Henry rotated into the game at left tackle.
  • JonDarius Morgan played briefly at left guard after Jakai Moore got banged up in the 1st quarter. Vershon Lee moved inside to guard to replace Moore once it was apparent he would be out a while, and Tyshawn Wannamaker entered the game at right tackle.
    • Moore returned to the game but only on a rotational basis.
  • Stone Blanton banged up his shoulder in the 1st quarter but returned to action.
  • Cason Henry left the game, ending the rotation at left tackle, and leaving Tree Babalade in the game full-time.
  • Xavier Legette didn’t look like he felt great in the 1st half, but he put up 144 yards and a touchdown anyway. He added another 73 yards and a score in the 2nd half.
  • Long snapper Hunter Rogers was banged up in the 3rd quarter. He would return.
  • Mario Anderson left the game in the 4th quarter after a routine-looking tackle but was back in later in the drive.
  • DK Joyner hurt his ankle late.
