South Carolina Football: Want a good deal on Gamecock tickets? Check this deal out before it’s gone!

The South Carolina football program is in a critical year 3 of the Shane Beamer era in Columbia. The Gamecocks have outperformed expectations in the former Carolina assistant’s first two years as the head coach, and another step forward could put USC firmly in the category of “contender” in the SEC.

The road won’t be an easy one, however, as South Carolina football owns the toughest schedule in the country in 2023. Big games and big hopes for the season mean a lot of tickets will sell out and be paired with a hefty price tag.

However, the University of South Carolina has made two games a little more affordable. Ending Sunday night, USC’s home games against Furman (the home opener on September 9th at 7:30) and Jacksonville State (November 4th, kickoff time TBD) are on sale for just $23 each.

The deal is honor of school starting this week for the 2023 academic year, and it is a great opportunity for South Carolina football fans to make it to Williams-Brice Stadium this fall without breaking the budget.

For those unfamiliar with the two opponents, there is a certain level of intrigue that will come with each game.

Furman is an in-state program that is ranked inside the top-10 in the FCS rankings and boasted a 10-win season in 2022. Jacksonville State is in the program’s first year of Division-1 FBS competition. Nicknamed the Gamecocks just like South Carolina, this game will mart the first-ever FBS showdown for Gamecock supremacy. Led by former big-time coach Rich Rodriguez, JSU went 9-2 last season.
