The Gamecocks are looking to become bowl eligible this weekend as they travel to face SEC Eastern division foe Missouri. South Carolina is fresh off of it’s most impressive performance of the season, a 40-17 shellacking of Florida, while the Tigers limp in after a 43-6 defeat at the hands of top ranked Georgia.

Can South Carolina keep the train rolling? Check out the preview for today’s game.

Gamecocks Injury Report vs. Missouri week 11.

The Gamecocks enter their matchup against Missouri relatively healthy. Jason Brown looks as though he’ll get another start under center with reserve Zeb Noland still healing from a knee procedure.

At wideout, former starter Jalen Brooks is out, currently away from the team. Read the rest of the injury report below.

  • QB Zeb Noland – questionable
  • WR Jalen Brooks – out
  • OL Dylan Wonnum – out
  • QB Luke Doty – out for season
  • DL Rick Sandidge – out for season
  • LB Sherrod Greene – out for season

Gamecocks vs. Missouri Odds, Spread, Over/Under & Betting Pick Week 11.

This game opened with Missouri being a one-point favorite, but the line has since shifted. It’s the Gamecocks who are now the one-point favorites, with moneyline odds of -115 to win outright according to the latest WynnBET spread. The over/under remains at 55 total points.

As noted by the spread, these two teams are very similar. Both have lost big to Tennessee, Georgia, and Texas A&M, won close versus Vanderbilt, and dropped one possession games to Kentucky.

These programs are a bit unpredictable, too. The Gamecocks have struggled most of the season on offense but exploded for 40 points against the Florida Gators last week. They’ve played well on defense and typically grind out low scoring affairs.

Missouri’s defense has been non-existent for the majority of the year, allowing more than 36 points a game to its opponents. The Tigers rank dead last in the SEC in both scoring defense and yards allowed.

The offense, however, has proved it can score points. Running back Tyler Badie leads the conference in rushing but the Tigers could be without starting signal caller Connor Bazelak for a second straight week.

With the uncertainty under center, we’re leaning towards the under in this one. We also think the Gamecocks can use their rushing attack to escape CoMo with a close win.
