JJ ENAGBARE

South Carolina has some huge holes to fill along the defensive line with the departures of Javon Kinlaw, Kobe Smith, and DJ Wonnum.  With that being said, Kingsley “JJ” Enagbare will be asked to step up and provide a pass rush from his end position.

He’s certainly got the talent as he recorded seven tackles for loss and three-and-a-half sacks a season ago as a reserve.  Those sacks came against South Carolina’s stiffest competition, too, as he found the backfield in games versus Georgia, Texas A&M, and Clemson.  But after making just one start over his first two years on campus, he’ll be asked to step into a lead role as a junior.

Enagbare provides quickness off the edge, and with more opportunity for playing time in 2020, he should see an uptick in production.
