MARSHAWN LLOYD

Lloyd is well-known in the recruiting world, as he signed with the Gamecocks as the 33rd best player in the country in the 2020 class, but he’s yet to take a collegiate snap.  That being said, he will definitely have an opportunity to take over as the day 1 starter in a young Gamecock running back room.

South Carolina coaches and fans hope he can come in and have the immediate impact of former Gamecock great Marcus Lattimore.  The Delaware native possesses the balance and vision to make him a homerun threat each time he touches the football.

He’ll need to fend off returning backs Kevin Harris and Deshaun Fenwick for touches, but will have the chance to make his mark on the Gamecock offense.  If he can live up to some lofty expectations in Columbia, Lloyd will become a household name around the SEC.
