6. The ‘Cocks Dominate Baylor to Advance to First Ever Elite Eight

This was maybe South Carolina basketball’s most dominant win of the year. The Gamecocks came out to a lead early in the game and never looked back. They beat Baylor 70-50 in their Sweet 16 matchup at Madison Square Garden.

The game is easily forgotten because it really wasn’t all that “exciting” in terms of competitiveness. The Gamecocks just grinded Baylor down the whole game and casually beat a #3 seed in the Sweet 16 by 20 points.
