The South Carolina Gamecocks have secured a major piece of their 2026 recruiting class with the commitment of Zyon Guiles, a four-star offensive lineman. Guiles announced his decision last Tuesday, officially pledging to head coach Shane Beamer and the Gamecocks.

Guiles is ranked as the 157th best player in the nation, the 14th best offensive tackle, and third best player in South Carolina. He makes his decision to head to the University of South Carolina after being heavily recruited by Auburn, Clemson, Florida, and Georgia. His pre-planned official visits to these powerhouses may change with his official commitment announcement.

Guiles is the second offensive lineman to commit to the Gamecocks for the 2026 recruiting class, a much-needed addition to the depth chart. With Guiles officially on board, Shane Beamer will look to focus on strengthening the line with this recruiting cycle.

As the Gamecocks continue to sign top talent, the future at Williams-Brice is looking brighter by the day!
