South Carolina will take the field one last time in Williams-Brice Stadium in 2024 this weekend as the Gamecocks welcome in the Wofford Terriers. SEC teams are known for playing one of their, as some would say, "cupcake" teams in November towards the end of the season, and Wofford would be that team for the Gamecocks.

The Gamecocks have faced this FCS opponent five times in their series history and have never lost to the Terriers, and on Senior Day, South Carolina doesn't plan on changing that. Not only does this team have the motivation that it is Senior Day on Saturday, but right now, every win is crucial for USC's College Football Playoff hopes.

South Carolina is not out of CFP contention just yet, and with a potential ranked matchup coming up in just over a week against Clemson, a big win this weekend against an opponent the Gamecocks are heavily favored against could give them enough momentum.
