If you were anywhere but CB18 Bar and Grill on Saturday, you missed one of the most electric off-field events of the summer. The Third Annual Wing Off and Raffle, presented by the unstoppable duo of Cocks By 90 and Cocky Hospitality, turned into a full-blown party full of South Carolina pride, packed with flavor, fellowship, and fierce support for Gamecock Softball.

From the jump at 4 p.m., the good vibes were flowing, the wings were cooking, and the music was playing. Coach Ashley Chastain-Woodard was joined by a lineup of Gamecock royalty, media members, and famous fans including Shawn Elliott, Mike Uva, Oscar Adaway III, Cornbread Cowboi, The Gamecock Bourbon Society, Kristen and Jeffrey Hopkins, Brandon Stone, and many more Gamecocks. Even South Carolina recruit Desmond Green dropped in during his official visit and proceeded to dominate the Wing Off competition like he already owns Williams-Brice Stadium.

Yes, you read that right! The 354-pound powerhouse smashed the wing challenge and walked away with the Wing Off Title, proving that he is not just a future warrior in the trenches, but he's a crowd favorite, too!

The afternoon featured a ton of Gamecock fun including a dunk tank, a high-energy raffle stacked with prizes from Hall's Chophouse, Steel Hands Brewery, Cantina 76, University Traditions, and other exclusive signed Gamecocks goodies and merch.

The best part? Over $1,000 was raised for The Diamond Fund, which directly supports Gamecock Softball. The amazing hosts, Jeff O'Hara (CB90 founder), Ryan and Hope Ferguson, and Faith Anne Floyd (Cocky Hospitality) presented Coach Chastain-Woodard with a check, capping off an amazing night with heartfelt cheers and true Gamecock gratitude.
