The South Carolina Gamecocks got their first SEC victory since last season, upsetting the No. 16 Florida Gators 38-19 on the road. The Gamecocks are heading into a well-deserved bye week after the win, and are now 3-3 on the season.

After the bye, the Gamecocks will get a big matchup, taking on the No. 14 Tennessee Volunteers at home on Oct. 24. And now, we finally know when exactly that matchup will take place and where it will be broadcast. The SEC released kickoff times and television networks for the Oct. 24 games. Saturday's game between the Vols and the Gamecocks has been given a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff slot, and the game will air live on either SEC Network or ESPN. The network should be revealed the week leading up to the matchup.

This should be a great matchup, as Tennessee is curerntly 5-1 on the season, with a lone loss to Texas so far this season. South Carolina will look to play like it did against Florida, matching up with a talented Vol team.

Elsewhere that week in the SEC, LSU will face Auburn on the road at Noon, and Texas A&M is taking on Alabama on the road at 3:30 p.m.. Oklahoma travels to Starkville to take on Mississippi State also at 3:30 p.m. In the evening slate, the SEC has given night games to Ole Miss at Texas, set for 7:30 p.m. Vanderbilt is taking on Kentucky in Lexington in the same time slot.

South Carolina and Tennessee are former SEC East rivals, as the two schools are set to play for the first time since 2023. The Vols hold a 27-2-11 all-time lead in the series, and Tennessee has also won four out of the last five meetings.  The Vols had a 12-game win streak in the series from 1993-2004, as South Carolina's longest streak in the series came when the Gamecocks had three straight wins from 2010-2012 under Steve Spurrier.

South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer's last win over Tennessee came during the 2022 season, as his team won 63-38 in a dominating victory in Columbia. The last time these two teams met in 2023, Tennessee won 41-20 at home. Beamer is 1-2 in his three games against the Vols in his South Carolina career.

The Gamecocks have had most of their games broadcast on SEC Network this season, and if that holds for the Tennessee game, it'll continue that trend. Regardless of where the game is aired, it'll be fun to see this SEC East rivalry get renewed again.
