The No. 10 South Carolina Gamecocks return home on Saturday to Williams-Brice Stadium to host in-state opponent SC State. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m., but a weather delay may push things back. At 5:29 p.m., an announcement was flashed on the scoreboard urging fans to take immediate shelter due to the weather in the area. South Carolina has not officially delayed the game, though officials are monitoring the conditions around the stadium.
The Gamecocks will take the field in all garnet, jerseys and pants, paired with black helmets featuring the Block C Gamecock logo. Team captains for the matchup are running back Oscar Adaway, tight end Brady Hunt, defensive end Bryan Thomas Jr., and defensive bac Peyton Williams.
Earlier this week, Shane Beamer addressed injuries. Defensive back Judge Collier and edge rusher Jatius Geer will miss the game but are expected back next week. Offensive lineman Shed Sarratt, who was sidelined in Week 1, is available and will play against the Bulldogs.
