After the big upset in Nashville last week, Alabama is probably going to want to come out and prove something, adn the team standing in their way is South Carolina. However, after the way they played last week, South Carolina is also going to want to come out and prove they are the not team that played against Ole Miss.

Both teams are going to want to come out and prove something, but it seems like the oddsmakers are on the side of the Crimson Tide. When the betting line for this game opened up, Alabama was favored big time, not giving South Carolina much of a chance in this game.

The Gamecocks are going to have to channel the same type of mentality that Vanderbilt had last week coming into this game because no one thinks South Carolina is going to be able to pull this one off.

South Carolina vs. No. 7 Alabama final prediction

South Carolina came a couple of plays away from beating LSU in Week 3, but against Ole Miss last week, the Gamecocks did not look like the team they knew they could be. This week, the Gamecocks are going to need to play the way they did against LSU in the first half in order to stay in this game with Alabama.

As mentioned earlier, the Crimson Tide are going to come out with everything they have in order to get the taste of last week's game out of their mouths. They want to prove they are not that team, but so does South Carolina. The Gamecocks looked undisciplined and sloppy on offense as well as on defense. In order to pull off this upset, they are going to need to play a clean game, and quarterback LaNorris Sellers will need to play a smart game and not turn the ball over.

This is going to be a tough game for South Carolina, but if they play clean football they might be able to keep it close. However, with the game in Tuscaloosa, this just seems like everything is going against South Carolina and Alabama is probably going to walk away with this one.
