The South Carolina Gamecocks will be well-represented during the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Championship, which will begin on Wednesday, June 10. The Gamecocks are sending a total of 14 athletes to the biggest college event on the track, including 12 of whom are on the women's side. South Carolina third-year head coach Tim Hall has his team flying after a huge outing during the East Regionals.

Over the weekend, the Gamecock women put on a display, starting with 4x100m relay. The team consisting of Alexis Brown, Cynteria James, Kymora-Lee Williams and JaMeesia Ford ran a 42.32, which was both a new program record and facility record, as well as the best time in the East Region.

Salma Elbadra was the runner-up in her heat of the 1500m, which earns her a spot in Eugene. Joslyn Hamilton advanced in the 100-meter hurdles, as did Cynteria James and Ford in the 100-meter dash. Akala Garrett ran s 53.87, in the 400-meter hurdles, which was the second-fastest time in Gamecock history. Kyndall Harrington-Spain also advanced in the event.

The women's 4x400m relay also earned themselves a spot, as did Tristen Harris in the long jump and pole vaulter Jathiyah Muhammad.

Earlier this week, two Gamecock men's track stars also punched their tickets to Eugene, Jaouad Khchina in the 1500m and Devan Crumpton for the 400m.

Congrats to all the Gamecocks on a fantastic run! The NCAA Outdoor championships will air on ESPN networks, with details to be released sometime next month.
