On Monday, The State newspaper released more details of his arrest from the university police department. Included in his arrest warrant includes more details about the items allegedly stolen from the vehicles, and per police, the incidents apparently took place over the course of several days. "On June 12, Williams-Dixon and his brother broke into a 2026 Mercedes SUV “with the intent to steal items of value.” Specific items targeted weren’t listed."

The newspaper added that the police department claims that the arrest warrants are backed by both "video surveillance" as well as a "confession."

Two of the alleged incidents per the police report took place at an on-campus housing complex in downtown Columbia, at the 650 Lincoln Street address.

A school spokesperson had stated that Williams-Dixon was suspended indefinitely from the football team following the arrest. Williams-Dixon, a native of Pickerington, Ohio, arrived at South Carolina in January. He participated in spring and winter workouts with the team, and his status with the Gamecocks moving forward is unclear at this time.

Now that more information is coming to light about the details of his arrest, that could be changing in the coming days. There has yet to be a statement from head football coach Shane Beamer regarding the incident outside of the team spokesperson confirming his suspension.
