South Carolina will be down two key offensive linemen when they take the field Saturday against the Oklahoma Sooners. Head coach Shane Beamer confirmed Thursday night during his weekly call-in show that Cason Henry and Nolan Hay have both been ruled out. The news comes one day after both players were listed as doubtful on the SEC's midweek availability report. Thursday's updated report added that wide receiver Brian Rowe and defensive tackle Davonte Miles are also out for the Gamecocks. While not ideal, Beamer had plenty of good news to share elsewhere.

Defensive back Brandon Cisse, along with Shed Sarratt Jr. and Markee Anderson, are all trending in the right direction. “Brandon is doing well,” Beamer said. “That was tough last week when he went out in the first or second quarter, that hurt us. But he’s practiced this week, said he feels good, and I think he’ll be ready to go Saturday.”

Beamer also sounded encouraged about Sarratt and Anderson returning. “Shed practiced today. Is he 100 percent? No. But he should be available,” Beamer said. “Markee practiced yesterday and today, and we’re optimistic about both.”

Another name to watch out for is defensive tackle Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy, who has been dealing with an upper-body injury. Beamer said they were optimistic for Saturday, stating that Brownlow-Dindy has been working hard, and hopefully will continue to heal and improve. Cisse and Brownlow-Dindy were both listed as probable in Thursday's report, while Sarratt is questionable. Anderson's name was removed from the list, meaning that he is available.

Henry and Hay both missed the Kentucky game, and Beamer had hoped to have them both back for LSU last week. Henry went down early against Vanderbilt with a shoulder injury, briefly tried to return against Missouri, and then exited after one play. Hay missed his first career start against Missouri before suffering a knee injury that has kept him sidelined since.

The next injury update will drop Friday, followed by a final report 90 minutes before kickoff.
