The South Carolina Gamecocks completed a three-game sweep over the Milwaukee Panthers with a decisive 14-4 victory on Sunday at Founders Park. The Gamecocks’ offense was prolific throughout the series, outscoring the Panthers 25-9 over the three games.

• Game 1 (Friday): South Carolina overcame a 2-1 deficit with a pivotal sixth-inning grand slam by Jase Woita, leading to a 5-2 win.

• Game 2 (Saturday): The Gamecocks secured the series with a 6-3 victory, highlighted by a four-run second inning. Pitcher Matthew Becker earned his second win of the season, delivering 6.1 strong innings with eight strikeouts.

• Game 3 (Sunday): South Carolina’s bats erupted for 14 runs, sealing the series sweep. 

The Gamecocks completed the series sweep over Milwaukee with a dominant 14-4 win in eight innings. The Gamecocks’ offense exploded with 13 hits, highlighted by Ethan Petry’s two-hit, three-run performance and a homer from Nick Nawrocki. Will Tippett also had a strong showing with four hits and two RBIs.

On the mound today, James McCoy earned the win, pitching four innings with three earned runs and eight strikeouts. The bullpen kept Milwaukee in check, allowing just one run over the final four innings. South Carolina’s strong performance secured a convincing sweep to start the season.
