South Carolina Gamecocks at 2026 SEC Media Days: Full schedule, details and more

It's officially talking season in the Southeastern Conference. On Monday morning, the 2026 SEC Media Days kicked off from the Tampa Marriott Water Street in Tampa, Fla. For the next four days, all 16 of the SEC's head coaches will meet with the media various times, and each head coach will be accompanied by three of his players.

For South Carolina Gamecocks head coach Shane Beamer, he will be attending the sixth SEC Media Days of his tenure. Following a tough 4-8 season, Coach Beamer is expected to be asked several questions about his expectations for the 2026 season, how he feels to be squarely on the hot seat this season and about several of his star players, including quarterback LaNorris Sellers.

When will South Carolina be at SEC Media Days?

Shane Beamer and the South Carolina Gamecocks will be in Tampa for SEC Media Day's second day, on Tuesday, July 21. Coach Beamer will be the fourth featured team of the day, joining Georgia, Auburn and Vanderbilt.

What time is Shane Beamer expected to speak to the media?

While Coach Beamer will be making various appearances throughout the day on Tuesday, his podium appearance in the main ballroom is scheduled for 2:55 p.m. ET on Tuesday.

Which players will be with Coach Beamer?

South Carolina will be represented by three of the Gamecocks' leading stars. Gamecock star quarterback LaNorris Sellers as well as his leading receiver Nyck Harbor will be in attendance. On defense, the secondary will be represented by Gamecock defensive back. Peyton Williams.

Starting at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, 7 a.m., "SEC This Morning" will kick off the action, followed by "SEC Now" at 9:30 a.m. The day will be wrapped up by "The Paul Finebaum Show" at 4 p.m.

The biggest will obviously be head coach Shane Beamer's future in Columbia. The Gamecocks finished 4-8 last season, and Beamer is 30-33 overall as a head coach.
