Wingo, a 6-foot-3 standout from St. Augustine, Florida, is currently ranked No. 157 overall and currently sits at the No. 23 spot for wide receivers in the country as well as the No. 21 player in the state of Florida. Wingo also plays basketball for St. Augustine High School.
Wingo is among a group of receivers targeted by South Carolina WR coach Mike Furrey in the 2026 class. The Gamecocks have already signed six scholarship receivers for the 2025 class and added a walk-on.
Wingo will take his official visit to Columbia in June and is one of several wideouts planning to visit this summer. Others include four-star prospects Ryan Mosley and Travis Johnson.
As the summer visit schedule heats up, Wingo's recruitment will come into focus. Shane Beamer and the Gamecocks hope to make a lasting impression during his official visit on June 20. With his blend of size, athleticism, and being a multi-sport talent, Wingo is the kind of dynamic playmaker that could elevate the Gamecock offense.
