South Carolina fans can buy variety of new alcoholic beverages at Gamecock home games

The Gamecocks open their 2026 season at home against Kent State.

The long wait for the 2026 South Carolina season is finally over, folks. After one of the longest offseasons in sports, the Gamecocks will open the 2026 football season at home against Kent State. 

South Carolina is already expecting a sellout crowd on-hand in Williams-Brice Stadium, despite the record forecasted temperatures, as well as a slight chance for a storm. As expected, several Gamecock fans will be looking to enjoy a cold beverage as they watch South Carolina take on the Golden Flashes. 

The good news is that South Carolina fans will have a wide variety of alcoholic beverages to choose from. Among the options to choose from, fans can select a variety of beers and seltzers, including Miller Lite, Bud Light, Coors Light, Michelob Ultra, Blue Moon, Topo Chico, Surfside among lots of others. Surfside is also an official partner with the Gamecocks, starting this season.  

According to South Carolina, fans will be allowed to purchase two beverages per sale. Per SEC rules, all alcohol sales at the stadium will wrap up at the end of the third quarter.

While South Carolina fans will of course be tuned into how the Gamecocks look on the field, several will likely notice several stadium upgrades throughout Williams-Brice, such as the beverage stations. The new grab-and-go marketplaces will be located throughout on the West Main and East Ground concourses. 

The new kiosks are part of the $350 million renovation project to rejuvenate Williams-Brice. Among the upgrades include upgraded, wider concourses, renovated rest rooms and various enhancements like fresh paint and signage.   

South Carolina is expected to win big on Saturday, opening the season against Kent State in the MAC. Under head coach Shane Beamer, the Gamecocks are 4-1 in season opeers.

Saturday's game will kick off at 12:45 p.m. ET, and air live on SEC Network.
