This week for folks might mean gearing up for the big Memorial Day weekend. But for the South Carolina Gamecocks and the coaching staff, they have been hard at work out on the recruiting trail.

Recruiting truly never sleeps in college football, and the staff has been busy extending several offers to prospects across the country. Let's run through some of the latest guys to receive offers from the Gamecocks from the classes of both 2028 and 2029.

QB Carter Morgan

The Gamecocks have offered 2028 quarterback Carter Morgan, who plays out of Denton Guyer High School in Texas. The Gamecocks are his first SEC offer, as the signal-caller also holds them from Baylor, Houston, Kansas State, Purdue, Syracuse and Utah.

EDGE rusher Nasir "Nas" Walker

South Carolina also extended an offer to local product Nas Walker, who plays out of A.C. Flora High School in Columbia, S.C. He is rated as the No. 3 overall prospect in South Carolina:

Walker also holds offers from Florida State, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Ole Miss, N.C. State, Tennessee and several others. Recruiting the state of South Carolina, especially the Columbia area is key for the Gamecocks' success, so getting Walker one of his first in-state offers is big.

OT Joey Fleming

Also included in the Gamecocks' recent offer is four-star offensive tackle Joey Fleming out of Huntsville, Ala. The Alabama prospect is rated by 247Sports as the No. 6 overall tackle for 2028, and the No. 2 prospect out of his home state.

Fleming also holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia LSU, Ohio State, Texas and several others, so the Gamecocks are competing among big-name schools for the prospect.

QB Logan Lucero

South Carolina offensive coordinator Kendal Briles also offered another signal-caller in Logan Lucero, who is in the class of 2029. The 6-foot-2, 215 pound quarterback out of Dallas, Texas is not yet rated by 247Sports since he will be a sophomore in 2026, but the quarterback has several big-time offers.

The signal-caller also already has offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Colorado, Michigan, TCU, Tennessee, SMU and Notre Dame.

QB Trey Wright

Can you tell South Carolina has been hitting the Lonestar State recently? The Gamecocks also offered three-star quarterback Trey Wright, from the class of 2028. Wright, from Frisco, Texas, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 25 signal-caller in his class, and the No. 47 overall prospect from his home state.

Wright also holds offers from Arizona, Baylor, Houston, Kansas, Kansas State, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma State Pittsburgh and TCU, among several others.

WR Jordan Peacock

South Carolina extended an offer to 2029 receiver Jordan Peacock, who is from Marietta, Ga. The wideout is not yet rated by 247Sports, but holds offers from several schools.

Peacock has also been offered by power-conference schools in Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Louisville, Kentucky and Tennessee.

South Carolina does not yet have verbal commitments to either its 2028 or 2029 classes, but that could be changing in the near future as the Gamecocks continue offering on the road.
