The South Carolina Gamecocks have landed a visit from Bucknell transfer offensive lineman Dara Adeyemi, according to reports by Allen Trieu and Chris Hummer. The 6-foot-8, 300-pound lineman is scheduled to be on campus January 18 for an official visit. Adeyemi’s visit comes after a planned swing that includes stops at Stanford (Jan. 15–16) and Kansas (Jan. 16–17), positioning South Carolina among a strong group of suitors in his recruitment.

A long, athletic blocker with three years of eligibility remaining, Adeyemi spent the first two seasons at Bucknell playing on the defensive line. He appeared in 13 games in 2023 and 2024 before transitioning to the offensive line this past season, where he played in five games. Adeyemi's size and versatility have drawn interest from several major programs since entering the transfer portal, with offers reported from Power Four schools including Alabama, Auburn, Cal, Kansas, Stanford, and South Carolina.

Adeyemi's visit to Columbia comes at a good time, as the Gamecocks continue to navigate the rebuild of their offensive line. With the use of the Transfer Portal, adding depth and competition in an O-line room that has seen significant turnover is crucial heading into the 2026 season.
