South Carolina Baseball returns to Founders Park for fall scrimmages

South Carolina baseball kicks off fall practice with a week of scrimmages at Founders Park. All games are free and open to the public.

South Carolina Baseball is back under the lights at Founders Park, and the fall grind is officially underway. The Gamecocks opened their fall practice slate this week and will host a full schedule of intrasquad scrimmages. All scrimmages are free and open to the public.

Things will get rolling with a Sunday night scrimmage on Oct. 19, with the first pitch set for 7 p.m. After a day off on Monday, South Carolina will be back on the field Tuesday through Friday. The weekday action begins at 4 p.m. Tuesday, 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, 4 p.m. Thursday, and wraps up with a 5 p.m. start on Friday evening (full schedule below).

It is a chance for fans to catch an early glimpse of the 2026 roster taking shape, new faces settling in on the team, and veterans sharpening their sklls before spring. Founders Park will offer that familiar blend of crackling bats, steady defense, and the kind of competitve energy that makes Gamecock baseball what it is.

Sunday, Oct. 19 – 7 p.m. (6 innings)
Tuesday, Oct. 21 – 4 p.m. (6 innings)
Wednesday, Oct. 22 – 4:30 p.m. (3 innings)
Thursday, Oct. 23 – 4 p.m. (6 innings)
Friday, Oct. 24 – 5 p.m. (3 innings)
