Shane Beamer and the South Carolina Gamecocks just doubled down in a big way, landing commitments from four-star twin brothers Aiden and Andrew Harris during their official visit to campus this weekend.
The twin brothers are from Weddington, NC, and racked up more than 40 offers between them, including offers from Auburn, Ohio State, Florida, Texas, Penn State, Miami, Oregon, and more. Their decision to commit to South Carolina comes after multiple visits to Columbia and a strong relationship with the coaching staff.
Aiden Harris, a 6-foot-3, 255-pound defensive tackle, is ranked No. 55 overall player and No. 3 interior defensive lineman in the 2026 class by On3 Industry Rankings. Aiden is a disruptive force who posted 82 tackles, 31 for loss, 13.5 sacks, and 46 QB hurries as a junior. He was recruited by the D-line coach Travian Robertson.
“Just always going down and being able to have fun and learn something new every time I go down there,” Aiden told On3. “Being a player for the day... seeing what they go through with the meetings and lifts—it felt right.”
His brother Andrew, currently listed as an EDGE, is actually being recruited to play linebacker for Clayton White's defense. Andrew isn't far behind his brother, racking up 81 tackles, 25 for loss, seven sacks and 36 hurries. He is ranked No. 296 nationally.
The Harris twins are officially the 6th and 7th commitments to South Carolina's 2026 recruiting class and represent one of the most dynamic defensive duos in the country. They are also channeling Spurrier-era energy by joining a memorable list of twin tandems to wear garnet and black, following the footsteps of Jasper and Casper Brinkley and Dustin and Jordin Lindsey.
The 2026 recruiting class is heating up for the Gamecocks.
