After a big win over No. 10 Texas A&M, South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer made sure he didn't let the excitement and hype overshadow his wife Emily Beamer's upcoming birthday.

While celebrating the win in the locker room and talking with his team, Beamer made it a point to bring Emily to the center of the circle with all the players around her and told everyone that her birthday was coming up this week. Beamer said he told his kids he would do a little birthday celebration for Emily if the Gamecocks beat Texas A&M.

Well South Carolina ended up victorious over the Aggies and Beamer was going to follow through with promise to his kids. However, instead of singing the traditional "Happy Birthday" song, Beamer had to put his own Beamer-like spin on his wife's birthday celebration.

Beamer broke out Fantasia's "When I See U" in the locker room to serenade his wife for her upcoming birthday. Beamer made sure to get his players in on it and it truly turned into a party in the locker room celebrating Emily Beamer. The players were going crazy celebrating the coach's wife, usually known as the mom of many teams.

One thing that has caught the attention of this sweet moment was the caption of the post by South Carolina Football adn that it "and they say romance is dead." If a head coach at an SEC school can have his entire team serenade his wife, then romance truly is not dead.

Fans of college football are also quick to point out that this is a very Beamer Family thing to do. Shane Beamer's dad, Frank Beamer, coached in college for a year and was a very successful coach at Virginia Tech, where Shane got his start. Not only is Shane doing things like his dad, but some say he is even starting to sound more and more like his dad, which isn't a bad thing.

So let's all take some time to wish Emily Beamer a happy birthday this week and turn on Fantasia's "When I See U" in her honor.
