The Indiana Fever drafted former South Carolina Gamecock guard Raven Johnson on Monday night. There, she will join WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark, as well as be reunited with her former Gamecock teammate, Alliyah Boston.

The Fever picked Johnson at No. 10 overall in the first round, which means Johnson is in for a big pay day. Here's a look at Johnson's contact details, using the 2026 rookie wage scale, via Sporttrac.

Johnson reportedly has signed a four-year deal with Indiana. Per the rookie wage scale, her contract will be worth $1,294,367. She will earn $289,133 in her first season, $300,698 in her second, $330,768 in her third and make up to $373,768 in her fourth season.

“You’re talking about a team that could possibly win the championship,” Johnson said of getting selected by the Fever. “I think it’s crazy. They have a lot of vets I could learn from and they’re winners. Everybody on that team likes to win. I think that’s what makes that team special. So to go to a program like that, that has the same mentality as me of winning is phenomenal.”

In March, ESPN reported that lottery draft picks will be eligible to receive full salary protection during their rookie seasons, with additional salary protection options available for other picks. In previous WNBA CBAs, draft picks only earned these protections if teams exercised their fourth-year option.

Johnson's salary does not include other forms of income, including endorsement deals and sponsorships, which are sure to come her way in the league.

Congrats to Johnson on her new contract!
