South Carolina football fans will fill Gamecock Park on Saturday morning before moving over to Williams-Brice Stadium to be part of the College GameDay experience ahead of their favorite team's matchup with the LSU Tigers.

The Gamecocks in attendance (and the ones who will be watching from home starting at 9:00 AM ET on ESPN, ESPNU, or the ESPN app) will have a loaded lineup of big names to see as part of the festivities.

In addition to the GameDay crew of Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, Desmond Howard, Rece Davis, Nick Saban, Pat McAfee, Pete Thamel, "Stanford" Steve Coughlin, Jess Sims, and Jen Lada and the game's broadcast crew of Herbsteit, Chris Fowler, and Holly Rowe, an impressive list of Gamecock-related names will be featured, according to ESPN's press release for the event.

Celebrity guest picker Dawn Staley will be at the GameDay desk for part of the show, and head coach football coach Shane Beamer will join the show for a segment. ESPN personality Ryan McGee (whose daughter is a student at the University of South Carolina) will do a feature on Sandstorm, and Gamecock superfan Darius Rucker will take a quick break from his tour with Hootie and the Blowfish to perform. South Carolina football alum Matrick Belton (better known now by his WWE stage name Trick Williams) has said he will be present, too. Columbia mayor Daniel Rickenmann also will be presenting Lee Corso with a key to the city. Kirk Herbstreit's dog Ben is in Columbia, as well.

There will be plenty of South Carolina football fans in the crowd at GameDay, and there surely will be some brave souls who will attempt to hold the GameDay crew accountable for picking against the Gamecocks last week (only Pat McAfee and guest picker Michael Phelps picked Carolina to beat Kentucky).

The weather has been thought to be problematic this weekend, but recent updates to the forecast seem to show that nothing more than light rain (and a lot of humidity) should affect the game or the pregame show. Fans shouldn't have anything holding them back from creating a big-time atmosphere that makes an impact against the LSU Tigers on Saturday.
