Earlier this week, former South Carolina football star and current Green Bay Packers cornerback Keisean Nixon was selected to the All-Pro team by the NFLPA as a kickoff returner.

On Friday, the AP All-Pro team was announced, and Nixon made the cut there, as well. Receiving another 1st-team selection, this is Nixon's second year in a row of being an AP All-Pro.

The honor comes on the heels of a season in which Nixon led the NFL in both total kick return yards and yards per return attempt. He did not take a kick back to the house this year like he did during the 2022 season, but he led the league with 782 yards and 26.1 yards per kick return attempt.

This season was also Nixon's first as a primary starter in the Green Bay Packers secondary. Last season, he was a part-time starter, but his strong play at corner saw him take a step forward this year, as well.

Nixon and the Packers will take on the Dallas Cowboys in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas this weekend in the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs. He and teammate Kingsley "JJ" Enagbare will face off against four other former Gamecocks as Stephon Gilmore, Rico Dowdle, Israel Mukuamu, and Jalen Brooks all play for America's Team. The game will begin at 4:30 on Sunday and will be broadcast on Fox and the FoxSports app.

He is one of thirteen former South Carolina football stars who are on NFL rosters for this postseason, joining Kingsley "JJ" Enagbare (Green Bay Packers), Stephon Gilmore (Dallas Cowboys), Rico Dowdle (Dallas Cowboys), Israel Mukuamu (Dallas Cowboys), Jalen Brooks (Dallas Cowboys), Deebo Samuel (San Francisco 49ers), Javon Kinlaw (San Francisco 49ers), Melvin Ingram (Miami Dolphins), Cam Smith (Miami Dolphins), Darius Rush (Pittsburgh Steelers), Ernest Jones (Los Angeles Rams), and Jadeveon Clowney (Baltimore Ravens).
