OBSERVATIONS
- Starters: Raven Johnson-Te-Hina Paopao-Bree Hall-Chloe Kitts-Kamilla Cardoso
- The Gamecocks started off ridiculously hot from the field (7-8) and led 15-0.
- A&M, normally a good defensive team, had no answers for Carolina.
- After an awkward collision in the 1st half, Tessa Johnson left the game. She returned to the bench in street clothes and a boot on her left foot.
- Kamilla Cardoso was dominant down low, and Chloe Kitts, Bree Hall, and Ashlyn Watkins played very well as rebounders and shot blockers in the early goings, as well. Cardoso had a double-double just a few minutes into the 2nd half. Chloe Kitts also added a double-double.
- Sania Feagin and MiLaysia Fulwiley were really good off of the bench for Carolina. Feagin tied her career-high (15 points), and Fulwiely set a new career-high (21 points).
- Endiya Rogers and Sahara Jones were good on offense for the Aggies, but the rest of the team combined to shoot 8-40.
- Te-Hina Paopao had her streak of multiple 3-pointers made ended. She went 1-3.
