South Carolina basketball coach Dawn Staley is one of the best recruiters across all of college sports. The three-time National Champion is bringing in one of the top recruiting classes again in 2024, but she has already made some in-roads for the Gamecocks in future classes, too.

One of the Gamecocks' top targets in the class of 2025 is wing Jazzy Davidson. Davidson is ranked as the #3 player in the '25 cycle behind only point guard Aaliyah Chavez (another Gamecock target) and center Sienna Betts. On Tuesday, she revealed that she was cutting her list of top schools to six.

According to a report from On3's Talia Goodman, Jazzy Davidson is down to the South Carolina Gamecocks, Southern Cal Trojans, UCLA Bruins, Texas Longhorns, TCU Horned Frogs, and Duke Blue Devils.

An Oregon native who plays her AAU ball in California, Davidson stands about 6'1" and has enough length and athleticism to play multiple positions, though, she fits most naturally at shooting guard or small forward.

Davidson has an improving jump shot, but she's most comfortable on offense as a penetrator. She is a good dribble-drive player who also has some solid passing vision.

Thanks to her length and her usual role as a perimeter player, Davidson can be a matchup nightmare. She swallows up opposing guards on defense, and when she has the ball in her hands, she has enough ballhandling savvy and length to get to her spot on the floor at almost any time. She also can post up smaller players and is a major threat on the offensive glass.

Davidson will play this summer with the Team USA U-18 squad in the AmeriCup, alongside South Carolina basketball commitment Joyce Edwards. If she were to pick the Gamecocks, Davidson would continue the program's streak of bringing in top-3 national prospects.
