OBSERVATIONS
- Starters: Raven Johnson-Te-Hina Paopao-Bree Hall-Chloe Kitts-Kamilla Cardoso
- Raven Johnson was back after missing last week's game.
- Bowling Green had some quick and aggressive guards who came out ready to play, presenting the Gamecocks with some problems (relatively speaking).
- The Gamecocks had some great ball movement at times, and they shot the ball extremely well in the 1st half. However, a few fouls and turnovers aided a scoring shortage to end the half.
- Carolina had 0 offensive rebounds in the 1st half.
- Kamilla Cardoso had a huge size advantage but was not playing aggressively.
- The third quarter was the frontcourt takeover as Chloe Kitts, Kamilla Cardoso, and Ashlyn Watkins combined for 17 points.
- Cardoso left the game in the 4th quarter favoring what looked like her ankle.
- Chloe Kitts scored a career-high 21 points.
